At God Who Sees Ministries, outreach isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are.
We go where others won’t — into the strip clubs, the streets, and the hidden places where trafficking thrives — to bring the light of Jesus into the darkness.
Our mission is simple: build relationships, open our hearts, and create space for God to move.
Through consistency, kindness, and prayer, we earn trust. That trust opens doors for conversation — and ultimately, for freedom.
Our team visits these women regularly, bringing gifts that express God’s love and messages of hope. Over time, as they see that we are safe, they begin to open up — and we introduce them to the One who truly sets captives free.
When a girl decides she’s ready to leave, we connect her with safe housing, counseling, and recovery resources. But our greatest joy is leading her to Jesus, the true source of freedom and healing.
When we lived in the Red-Light District in Southeast Asia, we went on walks regularly as a family. We would often see Julie on our walks and would wave to her on the street to her apartment window while walking the streets. She would warmly greet us back each time we would see her.
Eventually, after many walks and after seeing each other regularly, we saw Julie standing outside her brothel in the red-light district one night! When we walked toward her brothel after seeing her on the street, she grabbed Concilia’s arm and brought us inside the brothel. When we got inside the brothel, we sat down, ordered some drinks, and did karaoke with her and her friend for a long time. We danced to the karaoke and did worship songs. As we worshipped Jesus inside that brothel we felt God’s presence so strongly — it was powerful!
Eventually, we had to leave Julie and head out. Before leaving, we invited Julie and her friend to a banquet we were having for trafficked girls. The next day, Julie showed up at the banquet hall to join us and learn about what we could offer her if she left the sex trade. The following day, she met up with us at a public location, and we sent her off in a van to see our safe home two hours from the red-light district.
She saw what we were offering her was true — and she stayed at our safe house. Praise God! Julie ended up graduating high school at our safe house and is now in college. Most importantly, she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She got baptized, has found a good Bible-believing church, and is following Jesus! Hallelujah!
This is what outreach looks like — not quick fixes, but faithful presence.
Not judgment, but love.
Not condemnation, but redemption.
Every visit, every prayer, every gift is an opportunity for a miracle — and every girl is a daughter God refuses to stop seeing.
One of the many lives touched by this ministry is Julie.
Josh and Concilia met her while serving in Southeast Asia. Through consistent love and presence — even worshipping with her inside a brothel — Julie came to know Jesus.
She left the sex trade, graduated high school, and went on to college. Today, she’s baptized, walking with the Lord, and helping others find freedom — a living testimony of God’s power to redeem what was lost.
